Jason's Story
Jason founded Knaves with a passion for drama and a clear objective: to use his unique abilities to boost children’s self-esteem and confidence through a love and understanding of Shakespeare and performance.
Having originally trained as an actor at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Jason went on to graduate with BA Hons at the Guildford School of Acting. Throughout his career, Jason performed lead roles in productions such as Richard III, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Sweeney Todd. After completing a PGCE specialising in drama teaching, he became Head of Drama at a leading independent school.
Teaching with a 100% Pass Rate
Over the years, Jason has had the privilege to coach and direct hundreds of students through full-scale, slightly abridged theatre classics such as Macbeth, Twelfth Night and Lord of the Flies.
Alongside his theatre productions, Jason’s students boast a 100% LAMDA exam pass rate of Distinctions and Merits. LAMDA Exams are The London Academy of Music and Dramati Arts acting equivalent to traditional music grades.
